Entry door on unit group

Moving from entitlement to pre-design and even schematic we still use floor as unit/group without walls and entry. At this point in time an entry usually needed to drive circulation, egress, etc. yet the unit still changing, and 65% chance it will. Our people spent time adding the unit walls and add that entry, and very often turn out the unit will no longer be used.

I wonder what others use in multifamily project to add an entry into the group (assuming they use floor) without laboring adding the walls.

I don't see adding some walls being laborious.  But if you want to add doors without walls then do one of the following:

- place a non-host door family

- create a curtain wall type with a curtain wall door as the panel, place a curtain wall the same size as the door then you only see the door
