Elevations don't show the model, only levels

Hi, I'm a fairly competent user but I'm stumped. I made a template from an old project and must have accidentally deleted the elevations from the project browser. No problem, I created new ones. I've checked the crop region, vis/graphic overrides, hidden elements, view range, etc and still can't see anything in elevation views. So far I've only drawn walls, grids and added one component, a countertop. Weirdly, I can only see the countertop in every elevation. Any ideas??

what is the discipline for the elevation set to? 

if it is set to Structural, Casework will show but Architectural walls will not. worth a shot.....

I haven't created phases yet on this project but good idea. The previous reply about discipline was the ticket. Thanks!
