Elevation Detail Items in families displayed only in perpendicular Sections/Elevations

Dear Revit users,

I have placed some detail items in some tree families. The question concerns the detail items placed in Front/Back, Left/Right views in the family. When the Section is created parallel to the X or to the Y axis (S2- im.1) then the elevation detail items are displayed properly (im. 2). When the section is created at random angle (S5 - im.1) then the elevation detail items are not displayed (im. 3). Is there a setting or some other way to resolve that? In order for the detail items to be displayed at any angle section?

Hello and thanks for the answer. The question is not about the text tags it is about the representation of the 2d detail elements. In the bottom picture the 2d detail elements are not displayed.

I understand, but the 2d of the trees work like the text. You can only see them in X and Y axis

I see but I don't get how the 3d text is going to help me with the Cad file. Am I able to place a 2d drawing as a model text?

You cannot use a detail component for that. Draw the tree elevation using model line instead.

I did it with an imported Cad, but it has hatches inside. How would that work? If I convert the imported lines to lines would that be sufficient for the outline? And obviously the hatch will never show in a non perpendicular section view, is that right?

Detail Items are View Specific. They are only visible in views parallel to the detail plane.

If you want to use an imported cad, then don't import it in a detail family, import it directly on an elevation of the family, in another model family if you want to nest it.
