Electrical schedules for 2 dwellings

Hi all,

I need to create 2 separate electrical schedules for 2 attached dwellings. The dwellings are labelled as Unit 1 and Unit 2. How can I set up the electrical schedule to count the electrical symbols separately for each unit? For example unit 1 may have 6 ceiling lights and unit 2 may have 10

You mean you want to Sort  and Group them in one schedule? Or have two schedules, each reporting one unit? This is achieved through Filtering.

Either have 1 schedule with 2 columns showing count for each unit or if this isn't possible then 2 separate schedules.

The screenshot is a previous autocad job but it shows an example of what I'm trying to achieve here.

Almost. I'm trying to understand what you've done there (sorry still learning). In the fields do you have 'room'? I don't have this as an available field, do I create this?

You have room names as Unit A & Unit B only. I'm not sure how I can sort my 2 units because each units rooms are labelled the same i.e. living, dining, kitchen etc.  Would I have to change the room tags as Unit 1-kitchen etc and Unit 2-kitchen?

Well, tell me where the names "Unit 1" and "Unit 2" come from in your example. You can pull those Parameter Fields into the Schedule instead of "Room: Name" like I did.   For example, you can pull "Space:Name" into the Schedule:

...also, here's another format similar to what you are showing in your Screenshot, done with two Schedules placed side by side on the Sheet and the "Count" Column renamed to "Unit A" and "Unit B":

This is how it appears in my project browser

The units sit side by side and share the same floor and ceiling levels. Ive duplicated the floor plans, labelled the duplicate as Unit 2 and adjusted the crop region to show the individual units when placing them on the sheets. 

The room names are the same for each unit.

Okay, so select every Electrical Fixture Visible in the "Electrical U1_Ground" Floor Plan View and type "U1" into the "Comments" Field under Properties. Then do the same thing with "Electrical U2_Ground" Floor Plan View, typing in "U2".  Now, Sort, Group and Filter your Schedule by "Comments".
