Electrical Plans - Outlets hosted behind exterior finish of wall

When I place an outlet receptacle for some reason it hosts itself to behind the finish face of the wall. It also seems to be inconsistent. What options are there to fix this?Annotation 2020-02-21 113932.png

Is that a family that comes with Revit?

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

this happens sometimes... pay attention when placing and use the TAB key to cycle thru the placement options. once it selects the surface of the wall you may need to click on the space bar to flip the symbol.

Unfortunately the tab cycle option doesn't seem to work. They are a standard revit family.

Looks like two of the outlets are correct and one is not. Are they the same family? If not, post the family that isn't cooperating.

Better yet -- post the Project (RVT).
