Edit Stairs' Number of Steps

The elevation difference has been reduced, so the stairs can be reduce two steps, how can I just edit the run instead of recreate one - change it  from 7 to 6 , but the actual rise height is grayed out,

Edit stair, select a run and stretch the blue round grip to reduce the number of steps.

but it can't start from 1, since the blue dots are on two ends.

Delete landing, stretch the runs, re-add landing.
