Easiest way to uncheck 'Shared' in nested families.

Hi guys,

I had compile a few of family in a project and now I having problem with the nested shared family.
How can I uncheck 'Shared' in all the families that i had compile in easy way? is there any plug-in that can do that?
The way that i know is edit the family, go to the sub family in the family, then uncheck the 'shared', load back to the family, and load to the project.
It is okay if we have 1 family. what if there are a ton of family, it will be forever to do it. haha

No there isn't an easy way...

More bad news, you cannot simply open the nested child, uncheck and load back in...It is not possible to nest/load a non-shared version of a family when there is already a shared version of it in the Host

I think you would always have to save the non-shared version under a different name, then load it back in and switch it. Or just leave it as shared family, no harm in that aswell probably...

It depends on your understanding of EASY...simply swapping a shared nested child with a non-shared is not possible regardless if the name is same or different.

You will need to nest the non-shared family, lock and constrain it and re-associate its parameters. Simply a PAIN
