Duplicate view bug

Hi,

I have a weird problem on revit.

It's related to the view duplication.

Here is my starting point, everything is normal.2019-05-16 11_43_59-Autodesk Revit 2019 - [Projet1 - Plan de faux-plafond_ Niveau 2].png

When i duplicate the view "Niveau 2", here is what happen. 2019-05-16 11_45_04-Autodesk Revit 2019 - [Projet1 - Plan de faux-plafond_ Copie 1].png

A new view is created but the name is alway Copie and a number

Niveau 2 is transformed to niveau 3

If i try to delete Copie 1, Niveau 3 is delete as well. The view are bound to each other but i haven't change anything in that way.

I have the same problem with the 3D view as well

I already try to restard my computer and delete all the preferences from revit but nothing changes.

The file is fine because it's working on other computer.

Thanks for your help !

Are you duplicating as a dependent?  If you want separate independent views, just duplicate.  Dependent views are just looking at the same view and is usually used to split one view into multiple views to place on sheets but keeping the same scale.

Actually, that is weird behavior. I can't find a way to replicate it.  Maybe some Add-in is causing behavior.  Try temporarily disabling Add-ins and see if that "fixes" it.

Hi, thanks for your responses.

- The view that i create are not dependent, i try duplicate and duplicate with details but the result is the same.

-I can't disable the add-ins because i am not the administrator of my computer. I will try to contact the IT teams to desinstal and reinstall Rvit. That is a coarse solution but i hope it's gonna work.

The addins solution look promising to me but i am not using any on my computer. However, i used a file that was using a lot of addins. I am not sure if this is corelate with my problem. I still would like to know the cause of this issue in order to not reproduce it.

Could a revit file disturb my revit addins ?

Hi,

I am just wondering if this was ever resolved? I am having the same issue with mine and I cannot seem to find any other information on it.
