Drop down menu for typical door

Creating key schedule can pop up drop down options, however, it seems the options only showing up in instance properties panel. If I have identical doors, I need go thru each door to pick up the drop down. Since the doors were setup as typical door, any way to move the drop down menu into door type properties panel in that choosing one for ALL?

If they are type properties then you just assign them to the door types, no need for a key schedule.

You don't need a Key Schedule. Just build the Parameter into the Door Family. Make sure it's a Shared Parameter so you can pull the Parameter into a Door Schedule?

Actually, wouldn't you manage what Door INSTANCES have Card Reader, IP Camera, Door Bell based on where the Door is placed in the Model?  Kind of like Paint.

Yes, we want that. The posted is a question. In real, we have multiple dropdown list and the list is longer. It works well for instance door, to select door by door. When comes to type door, unless select all doors with same selected option. It messed up. It can be fixed via selecting one option from the list in the schedule. However,  we like choose options while working in plan view. Thinking it will be nice, the dropdown list could be moved to type property panel, that case, select the options for one door and apply to all other type doors. Is that even possible?

No.  Only Instance parameters can be included in a Key Schedule.

What do you mean by messed up? Selecting all the instances in the view and applying the option gives what issues?

Or else if all the doors that need to have the same option from the drop down have something common in the name or any other parameter, you can isolate them with filters and work, a bit far fetched and unnecessary complicated solution but if you could tell me what messes up in the first option, maybe I can think better.

It works when selecting all instances and applying a dropdown list option. Mess up when choosing one of the instances giving an option from the dropdown but a different one to other door/instance. As the doors have been setup as typical doors, would be nice to have the dropdown controlled as typical property.

Turn on "Itemize every instance in the schedule so you see every door and you can see which ones are incorrect.

Then the best thing would be to use the Filters in Schedules to spot the inconsistencies. I do that regularly for such situations. Easy to spot the irregularities and correct them.
