DPI screen vs printing with pdf

I have been struggeling with this for a few years.

How do other people do this ?

Clients and civil servants more and more don't print but watch drawings on screen.

I use A3 which nicely fits on most screens when viewing 100%.

This means a dpi between 72 and 96 dpi on most screens.

But when people want to print it i think 300 dpi is what i should use.

Do most of people use 300dpi ?

My question was not a shortcoming of revit but more a question.

WYSIWYG only applies if you zoom your drawing if you made a pdf with 300dpi.

You have to zoom 300/72dpi to get the correct thickness of lines.

if you print in vector only, they should be able to zoom without dpi concern.
