downloaded families without material

I downloaded some Revit families but when I tried to render everything is white or grey. When I try to Edit type of the families, I can change the material. But nothing is changing when I am rendering again. What am I doing wrong? Please let me know. Thanks

… do as follows:

… first try to edit type properties

… if you can’t change those

… go to materials

…. click in the material that you want to use and rename it (this step is critical to re-link the material to your model)

… and then reupload an image or material

…. or create a new one and apply it to the element you are using

…. go back to your model and render it again

…. done
