Doors and Windows in 3D view in opened condition

Anonymous
Not applicable
Im using Revit Architecture 2010. When i create vertical compound wall i could see the layers in the preview pane but why im not able to see it in my model in the drawing area? Is it possible or not? If not what is the purpose of that layer option? Is it possible to see the doors and windows in opened condition in 3D view?
Please clarify my doubts.

1) Finish layers are not visible in certain scales and levels of details. There are 3 levels, which are controlled by an icon in the visualization bar, next to the list of scales: coarse, medium and fine; and there are several scales. So, the closer you look at your wall the more chances there are that you see the finish layers, which makes sense.

2) I wish a parameter to control the door swing angle had been included in the door families, but it was not, so you need to do this by yourself or find a door family that already includes that property. There is a video that explains how to do it, in this link:
