Doors and windows do not cut the wall

hi

I'm using skirting board Add-in to make a wall that is A plaster layer on wall

but windows and doors sometimes cannot cut the wall wit new layers.

Join Walls not working to extend the Opening Cut?

If not, swap out the Opening Cut in the Door/Window Families for a Void Cut to cut the Host. Extend the Void Cut past the Wall faces. Then check "Cuts with Void when Loaded", load into Project and use Cut Geometry to cut the opening through the other Walls.

Have you try Join geometry with the plaster with the existing wall?

You just need to join geometry the skirtboard wall with the main wall.

it woks when join main wall to plaster wall
but it takes time 🙂

FWIW: Revit can make wainscots too - ones that are cut by door/window openings - using the Wall Sweep tool or by building the wainscot/sweep into the Wall Type.
