Door Tag Hiding

Hi, I want to hide the door tags but can't seem to find how to do it.  Bet there is a real easy solution too!!

Shortcut (assuming you have no template associated with your view):

Does exactly the same thing

Right click on the element > Hide in view... > By category.

Useful tip!  I noticed it only worked on the active plan. How can I turn off all the door tags at one time without doing it plan by plan?

Create a door tag family that is blank and load in project.  Select a random door tag, right click and choose select all instances in entire project, then change to the new blank type.  They are still there but nothing is showing.  Later if you want to change them back to the original type, highlight the blank type in the Family browser and repeat the steps above.

This feels like a very tongue-in-cheek response.  I actually laughed... but... it's entirely possible someone might think this is a good idea.

I think the correct answer is create a view template, and assign that template to all the plans, then the door tag would be off in all plans.

right click on a tag in any plan. select - all instances. hide in view. they will all be hidden everywhere. then when/if you want to see them you can use the lightbulb tool to see hidden
