Door Legend View Direction drop down not working

Hi All, 

I'm just trying to create a Door Legend, so I created a Legend View, dragged the door, wall or window family in.  At that point I should be able to select which view from the drop down, (see attachment).  But it's not giving me any views except the floor plan view.     I've checked that my families are correct, and no workset ownership is applied.   It has the same effect if I create a completely new project and create a Legend.  Any Thoughts?

If I start a new project using a different computer from a different office, it works without problems.

it sounds like your Revit application has decided to malfunction for you.

Ensure you are up to date on the latest version of service packs for your version of Revit.  Afterwards, try again.  If it doesn't work then try a repair of Revit.  If that still doesn't work...then try a reinstall...
