Door family is not reflecting the assigned material

The extrusion in below attached door family doesn't reflect the material. It should be simple but I don't understand why it is not acquiring the material I am providing.

Assign the material to Door Finish subcategory under Object Styles in project.

Thanks but I believe I did that as well but somehow the family I uploaded didn't capture that. Can you test with below attached one again !!

It is a type parameter so you need to edit each type and associate parameter.

If I use multiple level nesting, I would use instance parameters in the nested family, associate with type parameters in the main family.  It is much easier to manage that way.

Check your different nested door TYPES.

Just to be clear, you need to open and edit the nested family directly. Because of the way it is set up, that Type Parameter is not available to associate in the Parent Family.

- Change Material Panel parameter in the nested families to Instance (there is one nest family, the parameter is named Door Finish, rename it to Material Panel for consistency)

- Associate Material Panel parameter with Door Finish parameter in  DP_DR_Panel family (this Door Finish parameter should be Instance as well)

- Associate Door Finish parameter in DP_DR_Panel family with Door Finish type parameter in the main family
