Door detail components

I would like to show a door detail in plan without modeling in the door itself. I'm sure this is possible but as a steel modeler, I'm not familiar with this process or where I would look for this detail family.

Of course, you can create Detail Component families for Jamb, Head, Threshold conditions and nest them in the door model family, set the to only show in Fine detail level.  There are several basic door details in the stock detail library, you can start from there and develop them further.

I'm looking for something like this door, in plan, I can just insert in the floor plan. Does Revit have families, like this, already created? I just need something visual. No one is going to look at these doors in detail.

I see that I have misunderstood your intent. Just insert a stock door family, not detail component, and you can have it.
