Topography visibility in plan view

Hi I have this view in 3D and I want to be able to see the toposurface in plan but nothing shows. Topography is ticked in Visibility/Graphics, View range Top and Bottom and View depth plane are set to unlimited, nothing is Hidden. Any ideas? Thanks.

Check these values and lower the Start if needs be.

other possibilities:

-Hidden in View. Reveal Hidden Elements (light bulb icon).

-Toposurface is not within the "sweet" spot of the View's "Cut Plane". Raise the Plan View "Cut Plane".

-Large Plan Region in Plan View is obscuring the Toposurface.  Remove Plan Region.

Hi, start is set at 0. I tried lowering it to minus figures with no effect.

Thanks

there are quite a few things it could be. Can you upload the model with the surface for us to look at?

  • are you using Worksets, could it be on a work set that is turned off in the Plan view
  • have you picked Reveal Hidden (light bulb in the bottom left of the view) to see if it is hidden in the plan view

Hi, I have attached the model.

As you can see it is simply a dwg survey with the toposurface created from the import.

thanks for uploading the file. i don't seem to be having any issue viewing the site on my PC.  it seems to be viewing fine in Level 1 when i open it.

  • check your running the latest 2020 release?
  • check your Hardware Acceleration setting?
  • update your video driver?

@posidrive: I'm not clear why you have your Project set up in such a manner, but if I may make a suggestion -- move the Survey Point AND Toposurface down 217000.

Point taken. But whether the coordinates are shared or not, it's still odd.  This is about the Survey Point Origin/Marker - and Level 1 -  being 217000mm above the Project Base Point/Internal Origin and Level 0.
