Don't want the annotations to show on all levels

Hi!

I am a lighting designer using Revit.

I have made a standard wall sconce in Revit (Lighting Fixture) with the standard symbol for wall fixtures as an annotation. It looks like this:

Unfortunately- this annotation shows in all levels. Suddenly the bathroom wall sconce  on the ground floor appears

in the attic. Can anyone explain how I make the annotation visible only on the level where the luminaire is placed?

Try replacing the annotation elements with symbolic lines.

This will probably require editing the family so that there are no elements extending beyond into the other floors.
