Don't have an Extensions menu

I have downloaded a couple of extensions, primarily Timber Framing.  Problem is I don't have an "Extensions" menu as is shown in all the tutorials I can find. the "Add In" menu has a couple of irrelevant things but not the extensions I installed. I have restarted Revit and the computer. 

I am using Revit Architecture 2016 student version. Where can I find my extensions?

most if not all product enhancements/extensions when downloaded and installed, they will be installed in the Add-in tab of the Ribbon.  Timber framing extension for Revit 2016 as far as I understand is not available yet.  I found the TF for 2013 and 2014 within autodesk accounts and TF for 2015 within autodesk exchange apps...but no 2016 version.

Check plug-in info carefully on autodesk exchange. All supported versions of revit are listed here.

I am also having this issue. ive downloaded several extensions and when I open my revit, educational version, it does not give me the optioin for extensions in the add in tab. any help would be great. the suggestion here didn't apply to me
