Display Problem: C3D 2011 with NVIDIA Quadro FX 3800

Recently a new person started working at our firm and was given a refurbed Dell Precision T5500 with a bunch of RAM and an NVIDIA Quadro FX 3800 video card.  It is not the latest computer we have, but it does a pretty good job in handling everything, except one thing.  From time to time, only when he is in Revit (2014), his monitor will go black for a split second and come back with an error saying "Display Driver stooped responding and has recovered - Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."  I wouldn't mind much about that but it interrupts his Revit session and tells him that he must save a recovery file.  I thought that it was an isolated problem, but today I found out that it is happening to the others who have a similar machine.  I have looked on NVidia's website and downloaded and installed the partner certified" driver for this card.  I have shut off AERO background and I set the power to High Performance.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.  I should have done that first.  I tried it today.  Will let you know if it works.  Cheers
