Hello,

Would like to report something I feel that is a bug.

Revit Help mentions that displacement views are available in 3D and perspective views, however, it is not available in Revit 2016 and 2017 versions. It is available in 2015.

See screenshots from different versions attached to this post.

Anyone else also noticing this?

Kind regards,

Joaquim

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Hi!

In my case, everything works fine in 3d and in perspective.
Revit 2017.

I tried it in more than one machine here.

Have a feeling that might be one of the Add-Ins....

Thank you very much you all for reporting back from your end.

Will report back in case I find out what is causing it.

I think that it's because of one of the add-ins.

After you select the element, have you clicked on View > Displace element? I don't see the View tab being the current tab in your screen captures.

Hello,

Found it!

The "Show annotation categories in this view" box in the VGO window must be checked. Even though none of the other boxes need to be. Just this main one. Even the "Displacement Path" box may be unchecked. If you do not want o show it in the view, obviously.

No Add-Ins to blame, this time. And nothing to do with the Revit versions indeed.

Thank you all for your replies.
