Dish-shaped Floor from Mass Floor

Trying to create a dish-shaped Floor using following steps...

Step 1: create dish-shaped Mass [check]

Step 2: create dish-shaped Mass Floor from Mass [fail]

Step 3: create dish-shaped Model by Face > Floor from Mass Floor [fail]

I can create a dish-shaped Model by Face > Roof from dish-shaped Mass, but the floor is flat.

I'm guessing this is how it is with floors, or am I missing something?

Use Roof or Wall by Face in Project. Not Floor.

That is not how mass floor works.  They are flat floors created by intersecting levels with a mass form.  You need to create roof by face instead.

Is there a good workaround for adding a thickened edge to a Roof or Wall "slab"?

Wall Sweep, Roof Gutter, Roof Fascia, Model In-Place.

Post what you have and I'll tell you how I'd do it.

Try a wall sweep for walls and a fascia, gutter, soffit for roofs. If those don't work for wall or roof by face tgen uou can create im place sweep, pick path, and draw or load a profile to create the edge condition.
