Disabling Filled Region Boundary Lines?

Hi All,

I am looking for a solution to a problem which has bugged me since I began using Revit about 4 years ago.

When using filled regions, I hate the fact that the boundaries of the regions overlap other linework in the model, even if the region boundaries have been set to Invisible Lines and 'sent to back' using the Modify | Arrange tools.

I know that the boundary outline linework can be changed to whatever thickness the surrounding linework is, but I feel this is a workaround rather than a solution as it has to be manually changed depending on the thickness of surrounding linework.

I have searched around for previous answers to this issue and have found others with the same gripe, but no solutions.

Screenshot attached for reference, where on the right we can see how the linework on the interior edge of the walls is thinner due to the filled region.

Thanks.

@Katooosha

It is not the line which are your issue, It is the Filled Region itself which is masking half the wall face which it is aligned to.

Option A: use none masking filled regions

Option B: Which is most likely what you are after; Start an in Place component and place your filled region therein.

This is only visual in the model. If you have "Region edges mask coincident lines" turned off when printing or exporting to pdf that wall lines will appear normal.
