Dimension text below not showing

Hi fellow BIM-ers,

I've found myself a real doozey. I am having trouble with the below dimension text not showing. I have gone through the type properties, text will appear above, as a prefix, as a suffix but not below. I have tried the Dimension.SetBelowValue node in dynamo (kudos to John Pierson/Rhythm) which does add the text in the below input in the pop up box but doesn't appear in the actual model.

Has anyone come across this or have any ideas what I may be missing?

Are you sure it isn't there -- pushed out on the left side?

Its 100% not there, plus the reference point is the blue dot under the WC text so it would be showing up below that.

I believe you -- 100% 😉

I have never had much success with Horizontal justifications in Revit.  Betcha it works fabulously with Ordinate Dimension though.  Just saying. Not suggesting anything.   😉

I'm going to go into "Following this thread" mode now.  Maybe someone will come to the rescue here.  Fingers crossed for us.

I can't replicate. Can you show your dimension and ordinate settings?

Looks like a bug. The below text will show if you change the text position in Ordinate settings to next to witness line but you will need to adjust the text positions manually in case they overlap the witness lines.  Or use suffix in lieu of below to fill your text.  Pick your poison.

Hi mate,

I want a text like the below value, but in this case, it just applies to dimensions with the value 16. Is this possible?
