Dimension parameter sweep path in family

Hi guy,

I am trying to dimension a Solid Sweep Path to a ref.plane into a family.

I have created a door handle using Solid Sweep tool and Pick path. I would like to keep the handle tied up to the central ref.plane?

Is there any way to keep the sweep volume linked to a ref.plane?

Please find attached a couple of snapshots showing the issue.

Hi! Try to align handle with ref.plane and create constraint.

Create the handle as a nested family. Much easier to constrain.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your swift replay. The handle is for a parametric door family. The problem is that the handle doesn't constraints to the carpentry when changing the door size. I have also tried creating a nested family but it doesn't work.

I reckon It could be due to the sweep profile, although I don't a clue.

I have attached the rvt family (and nested family). I would appreciate if any you could take a look.
