Different level of detail on Dependent View vs Overall View

Our office uses Temporary View Template Properties quite often to override graphics such as detail level on plumbing plans.  However, we are having issues with the detail level sticking to dependent views after the temporary view templates are restored.  Oddly enough the overall view gets restored correctly.  This must be a Revit bug that is causing huge problems when it's crunch time and our PDF's are inconsistent.  Has anyone seen this before?

Can I ask, did you duplicated the view with "duplicate as dependent" option?

The model you send appears to not have any information other then the information within the project browser. The image in the forum case, were they native in the file you sent this morning or from a link model? Is it possible to send over all the linked RVT files?

Yes, I do duplicate as a dependent. However for most projects I use the CTC tool called View Creator that duplicates dependent views based on scope boxes.
