Difference between Revit 2016 & Revit Architecture 2016?

I have building design suite premium on perpetual license.

Thinking that Revit Architecture 2016 is Revit 2016 plus Autocad or Autocad Architecture on top of just plain old revit.

Can someone help me with the differences?

You could visit the official site of Autodesk and look for comparison there.

Revit add-ins: CAD Purger (delete UNUSED and selected line patterns & line styles, find and delete CAD), Rooms To Spaces, Schedule Utilities (Calculated Values/Combined Parameters To Tags, reuse view filter rules in schedule filters), View Filter Manager at Revit Apps Store

Not finding info for 2016. and 2017 Revit & Revit Architecture are no longer separate products (apparently).

Revit 2016 = Revit Architecture + Structure + MEP 2016.

AutoCAD and AutoCAD Architecture belongs in a Building Design Suite.

ToanDN you sure about this? Here's the reason for the question.....

I purchased Building design suite perpetual license some time back. It was an upgrade for me from autocad architecture. Never actually did the upgrade due to time constraints.

Well, have a project now that I need revit for so went out and installed revit 2017. Didn't want to overwrite my copy of autocad architecture right now so decided to NOT download the entire building design suite.

Anyway, found out I couldn't "save back" in Revit so went back and reinstalled 2016 in addition to 2017.

Because of my familiarity with Autocad products, was thinking that maybe the Revit Architecture was a suite that had product in addition to vanilla Revit..... similar to the way there is an autocad and an autocad architecture package.

So, if I'm reading what you wrote correctly, in my mind, the way revit is packaged is backwards from autocad. Meaning REVIT 2016 actually is more all inclusive than REVIT Architecture 2016. Is this correct?

Bottom line is I want to make sure I've loaded the product with the most features (since I've paid for it).

Thanks.
