did revit's default system font change in the recent update?

Using Revit LT 2021.  yesterday I installed the available update for revit, the 'hotfixes' or whatever that was, and I also installed autocad LT.

Now, all fonts that used to have arial are now displaying as Swiss, in various forms.  Across all text types, families, tags, etc.  Every file is affected, so this must be a global revit default system font issue.

So now I need to go back and reformat every single sheet / file / tag / text / schedule / etc that I'm working on, or change hundreds of text types back to arial, either of which will take forever? are you kidding me with this, autodesk?

I hope I'm missing something, and there is a quick setting change to switch this back, that I've just been unable to find?

Do you mean the Font being used is named "Arial" under the whatever's properties?  Or, are you saying that all the Arial Fonts are not Arial? That they are some other font?

As you can see, they all changed away from arial to various versions of Swiss.  Again, this is global across all every revit file and family, all text elements that used arial. Others in my office did not have this happen to them (yet, I guess?) so they still see the same files as arial. This is very confusing.

It's almost as if the "Arial" text type somehow globally deleted itself (or was renamed in the update or something?) , and revit just guessed at what to replace it with in everything that used to utilize that font...

See if MS Word is using Window's Arial Font.

...Reinstall the Font if not.

...hmm ... 🤔 … I wonder if something in your Revit.ini file got jacked up.

Look at the attached images, where you will find the exact sheet within the same exact revit file, printed from both my computer and my co-worker's computer. My computer replaced the previous Arial font with this strange Swis721 font, and printed the text with that font. My co-worker's file just left the font field blank, because they do not have this Swis721 font installed, and their print still looks like Arial, even though the font field is somehow blank now.

Another bit of context: both my co-worker and I STILL have Arial in our font lists.  So Arial didn't get deleted.

You can obviously see the huge problem for an office when two people open a file and print it and get different outputs.  This needs to be fixed, or we can't continue to work on any of our files. I marked this post as "needs an answer" and I have yet to hear from any autodesk tech assistance.

I just installed 2021 and now Revit prints all my fonts to different sizes and formatting.  Did you ever get a solution?  I'm worried I need to roll back my installation.
