detailing on the outside of facade frame

Hi guys,

I have made the main section of my facade wall.  I would like though to add a detailing which is that we use a bamboo panel/ frake noir on the outside.  I have attached a picture of what this looks like.

Could someone suggest a good way to add this to the wooden panel (the extra lines from the wood detailing)?  I guess whether I should be adding something to the graphics or somehow adding a layer in front of the current facade to have the detailed wood system.

Thanks in advance!

@stevensonJQWEF

Either apply it as a material to the panel (See Material Appearance Tab). With the proper Material Asset (Bump & Cutout if needed) you would be able to get that effect.

Alternatively, you can model a custom panel which uses an Array for the Planks.

There are others complicated ways but I believe the top two options are the simplest if you are using curtain walls

Thanks very much RDAOU,

Do you perhaps have more detailed info on how to do the first options?   I even can't find a material looking like the striped pattern I would like, and not sure what the material asset things are..

If so would be helpful, thanks!

Suggestion - create a custom pattern using PyRevit, and use that pattern to create the material.
