I have made a customised detail line which when I want to chose I dont have it in the ribbon bar. I never had this problem before. My revit is generally behaving very strange and missing alot of pieces lately.

In your top image you're showing the patterns, in the bottom the list contains Line Styles. These are 2 different things in Revit.
A Line pattern is just that: it's a pattern.
A Line Style is a combination of pattern, colour and thickness.
If you want to apply your custom line pattern, you'll need to create a new Line Style as well and apply this line pattern.
You can find the Line Styles under Manage > Additional Settings (same place as Line Patterns).
