Detail drawing is very small on a very large canvas.

I have a detail that was imported from CAD (window head detail) and I have developed a wall assembly on top of it. I have linked it to my section with a call-out but when I double click on the call out head the detail itself is really small.

I'm also finding when moving it onto a sheet, its very small in the top corner and includes a lot of blank space which does not fit onto the sheet. I have included a screenshot of how I would like the two details to appear on a sheet and how currently I have to line up the top right hand corner of my window head detail to fit it in, but this leaves a huge amount of blank space off of the sheet.

The scale is 1:5, which it needs to be. Is it possible to put a border around the detail, that just shows a smaller area (like my floor wall connection) or crop it?

Drafting view don't have ability to crop. My advice is link the CAD detail into floor plan. Then you can crop it easily without resorting to the large canvas which you are experiencing.
