hey LOBO
The solution to my first problem is to use model lines/ model text. That way I don't have to create a new floor plan view for every new option I create. !!
My request for meta options stands though! Unless there's a big omission on my part here as well.
I'm sketching several options for every floor. (It's a painful reno.) Every floor is a separate option set.
If I select Option 3 of my 3rd floor option set. The option for the second floor and first floor default to their primary option: option 1. These primary options do not match up with Option 3 of my 3rd floor option set. The latter has a mezzanine, therefore it needs to match up with Option 3 of my 2nd floor option set. Moreover the stair from the primary option of the 2nd floor option set also interferes with Option 3 of my 3rd floor option set.
(All these problems are also exacerbated if I different options require different demo's as well. The demo option needs to match the "built" option. )
So how could I get the option 3 of my 3rd floor option set, all the while getting option 3 of my 2nd floor option set?
I could make the latter my primary option, but then that doesn't work, because I Option 2 of my 3rd floor option set needs to match up with option 2 of my second floor option set and so on...
Better would be to bring in everything from option 3 of the second floor option set onto option 3 of the third floor option set. But then that destroys the flexibility of my options. and option 3 of my third floor option set might want to potentially match up with several options on the 2nd floor option set.
These problems would only be aggravated on a single floor with multiple option sets, the above solutions become useless when considering demos. Essentially every floor view should have the ability to lock in a different option from different option sets. Plan 1 = option 1 of option set 2, option 2 of option set 2, and option 4 of option set .
