Is it possible to enable depth cueing in perspective views?

It is always greyed out.

Thank you

Perspective views themselves give depth perception.  Why do you need Depth Cueing?

You can use a workaround:

  • in a Site View or the Perspective View, select the objects from the background that you want to show with thinner lines or halftoned.
  • make a Selection Set named somehow
  • in Perspective View , Load the Selection Set made before and use Override by Element to change the Line Appearance
  • Repeat the steps for other objects placed at a different distance from the Camera
