depentent views and scope boxes

hello everybody,

I want to create a number of dependent views of a certain elevation and assign a scopebox to the views. Creating the dependent views isn't a problem but assinging them a scopebox is. I've tried a elevation and section view, both don't work. In a floorplan I can still assign a scopeboxe to a dependent view. 

In 2022 this wasnt an issue but i found out i cant assign them in Revit 2023. Is it something Autodesk has changed or am i missing something?

Same issue here. We installed the latest update version, but we're not able to assign a scope box to a dependent elevation or section view.  This wasn't an issue in Revit 2022. Is this a bug in 2023??

Is it greyed out in 2023 or the option is not available at all?

Is your crop Region Visible option ticked on?

We tested this and it didn't make any difference. Either way, Scope Box remains greyed out.

Scope box doesn't work for dependent elevations and sections because it is not at the view cut plane.  Are you sure it works in 2022?

Yes, it works in Revit 2022. We used a project from 2022 en translated it to 2023 to use it as a template to start a new project. No differences in settings between 2022 and 2023.
