Department Parameter doesn't show up in Color Scheme

So I can't seem to figure this out, but I have built a Room Schedule, 51 total rooms.

I have used the Default Department Parameter for the Rooms, assigning things like Administrative, Office, and Conference.

Then when I go into setup my Color Scheme to color by Department, literally Department as a Parameter won't show up as a Parameter that I can color by.

I mean the Parameter exists, it is in my Room Schedule, but under Color Scheme it isn't in the list.  The Parameter doesn't appear to be one that I can reassign, and since I'm obviously using it on my Room Schedule it is Assigned to Rooms.  So why isn't it showing up as a parameter that I can control the color scheme by, when everyone else writes these posts like it is just a default they should be able to see.

Any ideas?

You are looking at Space color scheme. Change to Room color scheme then you will see it.

You know I had a feeling that once I asked the question that the answer was going to be really simple like that.  Thank you.

I have a similar problem I added a new parameter to my area plan for unit types, but it does not appear under the color tab. I am in the correct area color scheme. Since I created this new parameter, I'm assuming there is a disconnect with the color scheme. How can I resolve this? Is it a project parameter / global parameter issue?
