Demolished piece of roof not visible in existing phase

Hi,

So I have I question. In my project I am placing new roof windows in an exiting roof.
The piece of roof that is "demolished" to create the roof opening is somehow not visible in my existing phase. With my current phasing settings, it shoud be visible and overridden.

The roof is a swept blend due to old structure.
My phasing settings should be correct, because I have never encountered this problem.

Anybody have any ideas?

I've posted screenshots of the existing phase, the new phase and my settings.

Hi,

You have made a error in creating the phases.

For the filters the phase 1 BEFORE the phase set for the View is considered the demolished phase.

1. The roof exists in "Bestaan - te behouden" (nr 1)

2. the opening exists in "Nieuwe Situatie" (nr 3)

3. the infill created will belong to "Bestaan - te behouden"

4. Filters show the PREVIOUS phase seen from the view phase you have set.

If the view is set to  "Nieuwe Situatie" with a phase filter showing demolished elements only demolished elements in phase "Bestaand - af te breken" will be shown -> the INFILLS will NEVER show.

You should get rid of the "Bestaand - te behouden" phase, place all elements in "Bestaand - af te breken"!

Rename the "Bestaand - af te breken" to "Bestaand"

Also set the Demolished phase correct for all elements

I can't seem to get the phases to merge, I think you first have to set all phases of the elements correctly?

I hope it's a bit clear.

I always used a previous phase for demolished.

Seems earlier phases also work, so my earlier reply was wrong.

The issue seems to do with the inplace roof, with a roof by footprint in phase 1 and a window cutting in phase 3 the infill shows correctly in the all phases set for the view + filters.

Maybe replace the roof with a "roof by extrusion"?

Normal roof and Model in Plance roof.

Roof - existing, window - new, Phase - New, Filter - Previous and Demo.
