Deleting unused Text types

I am trying to delete an unused Text types, I have listed them on a paper then I wanted to purge them, but revit is not showing all the unused types, what can I do in this case?

if you are purging Revit will only list styles not in use or NO Dependancies

text styles are assigned to many things Dimension Styles, Schedules Tags Families etc

so to start purge what you know you can deal with losing

But when i try to check how many i have from a certain type in the whole project, it gives me zero, so it should be shown in the purge list, but its not.

Type some random text in a view and change it to the style that you want to delete.  Click on the text and type SA (select all). You can check how many there are at the bottom right of your screen.  Press 'Delete'.  You should now see it as a purgeable item.

I would recommend the plugin "Project Sweeper". makes changing and purging fonts alot easier & quicker.

You might be missing out to check in the Schedule.

in Appearance for Schedule ( Sheet list, Material, Quantity take offs, Material take offs, noteblock etc )

IF you are using any of the text type there, you won't be able to purge it..

They are listed in the purge command on other peoples computers. They are
only missing on my computer.
