Deleting Rooms from Schedule

When I go to the schedule to delete wrongly placed rooms, revit won't let me without deleting associated elements. How do I get rid of these to clear up the schedule?

The issue though is that if I delete the associated element some of the
doors and curtain walls and stuff will be missing

Model elements and "Rooms" are not interrelated. By "associated element", I mean delete the room in the project, as well as the room in the Schedule.

I tried that and the unwanted rooms reappeared at the bottom of the
schedule. Any ideas on why this is the case?

Alright, something else is going here.  For sure, I don't have a clear understanding.  Let's start from the top. Walk me threw it.  Give me the steps to replicate it on my end.

Sure! I have quite a few curtain walls in my building. So when I placed the
room, that element is counted as one of the barriers. I think that is what
the error is referring to... The error specifically states that the curtain
panels will be switched out with system panels if I continue but then revit
will not let me continue even if I wanted to, because the rows in the
schedule are replaced at the bottom and not deleted (the ok button is
greyed out, so my only options are pressing continue or cancel). What does
happen when I do this though is that some doors are randomly deleted from
the project, which is funny because the error message was warning about the
curtain panels. So my questions are 1) How I proceed with the error message
without the rows being replaced at the bottom and 2) How I proceed without
deleting doors and windows from the project.

It does not sound like a room schedule, but a curtain panel schedule sorted by room. Create a new room schedule and delete the room there.

this is how you delete a room fully from the project. Create a ROOM Schedule, select "Not Placed" rooms and hit "Delete".

Just as I expected.  It is not a Room schedule, but a Multi-category schedule.  When you delete something from that schedule you delete the actual elements such as Doors, Curtain Panels, Windows, Furniture, etc.. not Rooms.

Create a Room Schedule and delete Rooms (rows) from there.

Well I selected multicategory schedule but under the next popup I selected filter list: room so that it would be a schedule about room categories, but I did not realize this is different than an actual room schedule.
