Default wall base contraint

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am in the floor plan A. I want to sketch some walls with the base contraint on level B. I have set the work plane to level B. Still I have to set the wall base contraint each time I want to draw a wall. Is there a way to set the default wall base contraint for the time being?

Not that I know of. However, why would you draw a wall for level B on floor Level A?

I always draw walls for Level B on floor plan level B. If I need some information from level A to determine placement of wall on Level B I use underlays or modified view ranges.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

The default base constraints for walls are not associated to work planes that you set. They are associated only to Levels. By default, they are associate to whatever Level plan you are working in when you draw them.
