Default 3D view? Section Box Command?

Is there a way to change the view that the section box window opens up in once the command is activated?

I have created a 3D working view that I would like to be the default view.

Can't figure out how to change the default view.

For the record I can create views and configure how the particular views show up when home button is pressed etc.

So this is about assigning which instances of the various views I create that can be assigned as the home view.

No, AFAIK.

Don't change the name.

Not really. If your 3D view is active, your selection box will be applied to that view. Make you selection, switch to your 3D working view and execute the command.

Thanks RSomppi-

Good to know that doesn't appear possible.

Has me thinking now whether or not I even need a 3D "working View" since the default (3D) view kind of works the same way.... easily revertable back to what I started with and simply just not using it as a view in the drawing set kind of solves the problem.
