Daylight Analysis - Acceptance by CaGBC/ USGBC for LEED 2009 NC IEQc8.1

Was looking for written confirmation or a precedent that would confirm results from Revit Daylight modeling are acceptable to CaGBC/ USGBC for IEQc8.1 documentation.  Or does it need to be verified by other software?

Hello.

In our discussions with USGBC, they stated that they cannot certify or promote individual tools, but they provided the guidelines and verfication that the data from our tools meets the scope of the LEED submittal requirements.  They also include LAR on their list of tools here:  http://www.usgbc.org/resources/autodesk-apps-leed-automation 

A number of customers have shared examples of successful submittals for the LEED credit using LAR.  I have not heard of anyone being denied due to the tool.

Please also try out the Revit Credit Manager, will will help you transfer the data from LAR automatically to the LEED forms.
