Looking for an add-on or any way to extract the information (like wall area, roof area) from revit model to excel sheet.

There are several...

Some cost a few $ like Ideate add-in (they have a few trial which I can check out)
Some come for free like Dynamo - search YouTube there are loads of examples on using Dynamo to extract data to Excel and also import back into Revit if needed
