Cutting wall profile

Hi there,

I'm attempting to cut a wall profile except the cut profile tool isn't working the way I want it to.

I have a have a wall that goes up to a parapet and a beam system below the parapet where the deck and OWSJ's tie into a beam system (see attached picture below).

The exterior of the wall carries up but I want to stop the steel studs and drywall underneath the deck so I don't have lines going through my structure. Any ideas?

Cut profile should work but it is per view and 2d only. I would edit the wall type, unlock the two interior layers so that you can set the top extension to a negative value so that the layers stay under the structure.

Sounds like you want to Extend certain Wall Layers and not others - not change the Wall Profile or "cut" the Wall.
