Hello!
After a brief check around the forum for similar issues without any successful solutions, here I am with the following problem:
I'm trying to create a simulation for the phases required by the enlargement of a railroad embankment. Started out in Civil 3D from a survey, but the scarce COGO Points were producing a considerable errors in the TIN Surface and the overall result wasn't representing a realistic surface. So I decided to recreate the entire volume in Revit by manipulating it according to sections every 100m. The result is exactly what I was looking for, especially for such a small amount of work put into it. Now I have to simulate the benching (various numbers of steps cut into the OGL to support the next phase of filling the embankment), and the issue is that only extruded voids cut the Toposolid. Blends pop the error "Can't make cut-out." Tried it with Components as void blends, void swept blends, In-Place Masses (although it was harder to obtain two different profiles there). Nothing seems to work other than regular extrusions, which do not correspond to the required designed works. Is there any workaround, or correct way of approaching this?
