Cut partially a wall

I need to cut a wall partially. Like making an "L" shape in the bottom of the wall section. Is it possible.

Have you tried a Wall Sweep Reveal?

Another option would be to have a different wall family and make profile edits. That will depend on how many details you need.

Several options: 

• Join the element in the notch and the wall in proper join order to cut the wall
• Place a wall reveal
• Place a void sweep and pick the bottom of the wall for path
