I think you can copy+paste the system at the same location, and then modify each system to the meeting point. Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but that's what I would do if I'm understanding the question correctly.
Once you have placed the system, u no longer need it...you can unpin the beams and cope them

Clipboard Copy the Beam System and Paste Aligned to the Same Place. Then Edit and resize the Boundary of each System.
Thanks Guys,
Then there is no option for simple divide for Beam System, beside good old copy/paste.
I also added "Ref Plane" in middle and then resize the Boundary of each System according it. It's a bit easier to align it then.
If there is a gap between the two systems then you can do this to keep them as one system.
Why do you need two halves? You could place a Beam down the middle (via 3D Snapping) and Cope all the Beams together (and zero out the Coping distance).

I needed this to make Balcony in middle of the roof. Otherwise if its huge building, there are a lot "Beam Systems" and it's becomes hard to manage all.
I was trying to find easiest way to do cuts like that. 🙂
OMG, I never tried this, this is even better solution. It keeps all together as one system, and does what I want.
Then simply create an opening in the the sketch of the beam system similar to what you would do if you have a floor or a roof...you do not need to break up and split the beam system
