Custom Sheet Name Dialog

When I am renaming a sheet a sheet name dialog appears and there are two fields to fill, number and name. However, I would like to enter a third field. Does anyone know how to add one more field in the sheet name dialog?

If you want to place additional information on sheet , you can do it by using a Sheet List Schedule where you will be able to add Fields and edit their values on it.

Is there any way thought to create these fields at the sheet name dialog I attached before? Because, the naming strategy the office I work for is a bit confusing, I would like to have the opportunity to see in the project browser the number, the name of the sheet but also a small note. For example, A01 - 24_PL_00_1001 - Bathroom 01 , A01 is the number, 24_PL_00_1001 is the sheet name and Bathroom 01 is the note I would like to add.

you can play with Browser Organisation settings so to obtain what you want..

Here you have a rough example:

create a new Parameter (text) and use it in Browser Organisation settings:

- If you only need the extra field to appear when you look at the sheet properties or in a sheet index then add the  parameter to the project parameter and assign it to Sheets category (or add it via a sheet index schedule).

- If you want the field to show in the titleblock then you need to create a shared parameter and add it to the titleblock family as a label, then add it to the project + assign to Sheets category.

- But you will not have that field show in the Sheet Rename dialog.  the dialog is hardcoded with only Sheet Number and Sheet Title.
