Custom Label Border Parameter

Hi, I'd like to create a custom shaped border that would adjust around my label (specifically a tag, e.g. wall tag). How do I create the parameters for that? I can't lock the label edges to detail lines.

You can turn on Show Border for the label type.

Thanks for the reply. I don't want to create a rectangular border though. I want a custom shaped one with rounded corners. Is there any way to change that?

No.  Use a masking region and create several types for different label lengths.  Best to keep the label length (number of characters) consistent so that you don't need so many types.

You can draw your own lines within a tag to create any shape you want. From there I would create a 'distance' parameter and make those instance so in Revit you can then adjust how you need them to be which means your text will determine the size.
As a side note, if you pull a normal text box to a specific length, that will be the break point for the text to create a second line.
