Curved Roofing Material Pattern

Hi All,

I am preparing documents for city approval and our shingle pattern is not cooperating. Please see image below.

Please let me know if anyone has a solution.

Yes the Roof is semi-circular. I guess then the question is... How should I model it so the shingles read correctly.

Use a roof by face instead of by footprint for the curved section.

.... you can draw your roof from here

... and apply the texture / material

... that way it will follow the pattern around the roof
